Our recently expanded Outfitting store has everything a whitewater paddler needs, from paddling equipment to nose plugs and MKC souvenirs.

We rent the complete package – solo and tandem canoes, kayaks, paddles, lifejackets, sprayskirts, helmets and wetsuits – and everything is available for purchase in the store as well.

Bring Your Boat
If you're bringing your own boat, tandem canoes must have center flotation bags (bow & stern for solo canoes), 10-foot bow and stern pointers, and we strongly recommend thigh braces and knee pads. Kayaks must have grab loops and at minimum, stern flotation bags.

We're very lucky. Because of our longtime involvement with the international paddling community, and because paddlers love to train on the warm, reliable Madawaska, the world's best come to teach at MKC. They include Anna Levesque, Billy Harris, Jimmy Snyder, Tiffany Manchester, Paul Mason, Mark Scriver and Sheryl Boyle, Andrew Westwood -- Sorry, we can't name you all.

Yet, our instructors are more than Olympic champions. They are sensitive, experienced teachers and you will like them.
