Open Canoe & Kayak Slalom Camp.

An excellent opportunity to
be coached, videoed and taught by top slalom paddlers.
Evening sessions will include video analysis, stretching, physiology
and nutrition.
Beth Kennedy will
lead the Open Canoe Slalom clinic from Monday to Wednesday, with a
Canoe slalom held Wed afternoon, July 18th.
Kayakers will be
coached by a Canadian Team member, leading up to participating in the
annual MKC slalom, Thursday, July 19th.
Slalom kayaks can be rented
for $20/day.

incredible opportunity to upgrade your whitewater
skills - first get coached through slalom gates
to build your technical component on
the Madawaska River with Katrina Van Wijk, World
Series slalom
bronze medalist.
Then transfer to the Ottawa - and put finesse into action with
elite coaching from Emily Jackson,
World Champion
freestyle
gold medalist. This 4-day course starts
at MKC for your two days of slalom, then to the Ottawa River
staying at OWL Rafting.
This combo course includes instruction, meals and camping.
Slalom and/or Freestyle playboat can be rented for $20/day.
